The Cottage Middle Westwater

The Cottage at Middle Westwater is a detached cottage in the hamlet of Westwater, reached along a long private driveway through farmland by the River Yarty, around five minutes from Axminster. It is built reverse-level, with the living space upstairs, and sleeps 4 across two ground-floor bedrooms.

Downstairs, a double bedroom and a twin room, whose zip/link beds can be made up as a king-size on request, share a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. A separate utility room off this floor has a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.

Upstairs, an open-plan living area holds a well-equipped kitchen, a dining space and a lounge with a log burner, available from October to March, plus a cloakroom. Large windows look out over the surrounding fields, and the living area opens onto an elevated patio. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi.

A split-level garden below has a paved patio seating area and lawns for children to play on. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, though the electricity supply cannot charge electric vehicles. Pets are not accepted and the property is no smoking. A shop is around 1 mile away, and the nearest beach roughly 7 miles.
