Tale Head

Tale Head is a renovated three-bedroom retreat set in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a short drive from the medieval thatched village of Broadhembury and around five miles from the market town of Honiton. The property sleeps six across a king-size room with its own en-suite shower room and WC, a 4ft double, and a twin room, with a second bathroom offering both a bath and a separate shower. Up to three dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply, and there are steps up to the front door and to the garage entrance.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and a coffee machine, with a dining table that seats all six guests. A utility room off the kitchen houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. The living room has two sofas, an armchair, a Smart TV, and a flame-effect electric fire. An attached garage has been converted into a games room fitted with a pool table and darts board.

Outside, a spacious lawn and seating area takes in peaceful countryside views, and a dual-fuel BBQ is provided for outdoor cooking. The private driveway has space for three cars. A highchair is available on request and a travel cot can also be arranged for families with young children.

The nearest shop and pub are around two miles away, and the coast is approximately fifteen miles distant. Honiton, known for its antique shops and lace-making heritage, is close enough for an easy day trip. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure before 10:00.
