Priestacott Tithe Barn

Priestacott Tithe Barn stands on a family-run sheep farm close to Torrington, converted to sleep up to 12 guests across six en-suite bedrooms. The open-plan kitchen has a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and a central marble-top island, fitted with an electric range oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A snug area sits just off the kitchen, reached by a few steps, while a separate dining room with a drinks fridge opens through French doors to the garden for outdoor dining.

A further formal lounge offers a Smart TV and a pool table, with its own door out to the garden. Three bedrooms occupy the split-level ground floor, including two super-king rooms with zip-and-link beds that can be set up as twins on request, and a twin room; each has an en-suite bathroom or shower room. The remaining three bedrooms, two super-king and one king, are arranged on their own separate mezzanine levels above the living space, each with an en-suite shower room or bathroom.

Outside, a large enclosed garden looks out over surrounding countryside toward Dartmoor, with a lawn, patio, garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. A wood-fired hot tub is provided for private use by guests during their stay, and ample private off-road parking sits directly outside the property. Storage is available for bicycles and surfboards, and a private chef can be arranged for an additional cost on request.

Two travel cots and three highchairs are provided, making this a practical base for family groups. Underfloor heating runs across the ground floor, supplemented by electric and central heating throughout. No dogs are permitted at the property. Arrival is from 17:00 and departure is before 10:00.
