Post Box Retreat

Post Box Retreat is a two-bedroom cottage in the village of Brayford in North Devon, on the edge of Exmoor National Park, and sleeps 4. Surrounded by rural countryside, it is about 2 miles from Brayford Woods and its waterfalls, 5 miles from Rock Adventure Centre and 5.5 miles from Exmoor Zoo.

Upstairs are two bedrooms: a king-size room that converts to twin beds on request, and a double, both served by a single shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The living and dining room downstairs has a woodburning stove, a smart TV with DVD player and streaming apps, and a dining table for four; guests need their own streaming accounts and should log out before departure.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Electric central heating, WiFi, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Outside, an enclosed rear courtyard has garden furniture for sitting out. There is no mobile signal in the area on any network, but WiFi is available for calls.

Post Box Retreat does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car. Stays of 7 nights only run between July and the end of August. The nearest shop is 3.8 miles away, the pub 2.6 miles, the River Bray half a mile, and the surf beaches of the area around a 30-minute drive.
