Newlands

Newlands is a contemporary house close to Yelverton on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, with a level entrance for easy access. A large hallway leads to a cinema room with a 75-inch Smart TV and a double sofa bed, giving ground-floor sleeping for anyone unable to use the stairs. The house sleeps 10 across five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Upstairs, the king-size main bedroom and the main bathroom both look out over Dartmoor. Two further double bedrooms and a bunk room complete the sleeping space, and a second bathroom has a spa bath and a shower. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is built around a large Italian walnut table that seats 10, with an island overlooking the valley.

The kitchen has a Neff double oven, an induction hob, a microwave, two fridge/freezers, a wine cooler and a dishwasher, and a separate utility room holds a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Gas central heating covers the house, and three Smart TVs are fitted across the main bedrooms.

Outside, a south-facing rear garden has a hot tub, a barbecue and space for alfresco dining. Private driveway parking covers 5 cars. Newlands has a pet-friendly policy (confirm how many when booking); the property accepts a minimum stay of 2 nights. Smoking is not permitted.
