Nelli Lodge at Mile End

Nelli Lodge at Mile End sits in a wild-flower meadow on the edge of the village of Cheriton Fitzpaine, with countryside views towards Dartmoor. It's a single-storey lodge built for a couple, with a woodburning stove for colder evenings and dressing gowns provided as a small extra touch.

The open-plan living space has a vaulted ceiling, a fully fitted kitchen with a slimline dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine, a dining area for two and a sitting area with a Smart TV, games and a bluetooth speaker. The king-size bedroom has meadow views and an en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Gas central heating covers the lodge, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent.

Outside, the enclosed front garden has a patio, furniture and a wood-fired hot tub with LED lighting and air jets, a good spot for an evening under the stars. Designated parking is provided for one car, and a travel cot and highchair can be requested. A three-night minimum stay applies, and the property allows one booking per week.

Nelli Lodge takes one well-behaved dog, and smoking isn't permitted. The shop is 1.2 miles away and the pub 1.1 miles. Crediton's independent shops, pubs and eateries are a short drive away, and Exeter's cathedral, museums and underground passages are both within reach for a day out.
