Hole House

Hole House is a 16th-century country house near Branscombe, set in its own grounds with coastal views. It sleeps 16 across six bedrooms, two with super king-size beds and four with king-size beds, served by four bathrooms. A snug with a double sofa bed and a study with occasional twin beds add further sleeping space for a larger group.

Downstairs there's a kitchen/diner, a separate breakfast kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room each with a woodburning stove, a first-floor sitting room, and a conservatory. Two cloakrooms and a utility room with laundry, a dryer, a shower and a WC sit alongside the main rooms, giving the group room to spread out.

The kitchen is equipped with a range oven, an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, two fridges, a freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, and central heating covers the house with fuel and power included in the rent. WiFi is provided throughout.

Outside, an enclosed wraparound garden combines a lawn, a medieval courtyard, a shaded terrace, an orchard and woodland, all with furniture for sitting out. Private driveway parking is provided for 8 cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome, the house is strictly no smoking, and stag, hen or similar parties are not accepted. The beach is around 0.9 miles away, with a National Trust forge, shop and cafe around 20 minutes' walk and two pubs within a mile.
