Hole Farm Stables

Hole Farm Stables is a first-floor barn conversion on a former 15th-century farm on the outskirts of Bickington near Ashburton, reached along a single-track country lane and a private driveway. The apartment runs across one level, sleeping 4 across two bedrooms and one shower room, with the owner's house next door.

Six stone steps lead up to the open-plan kitchen, living and dining room, built around a woodburning stove. A king-size bedroom looks out over the private raised garden, and a second bedroom has an adult bunk with two full-size single beds. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC, though the head height inside is restricted.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box and a washer/dryer, and there's a Smart TV and WiFi for evenings in. Outside, a private, enclosed side garden has a lawn, furniture and a barbecue, reached by a few steps. A highchair and travel cot are available on request.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at Hole Farm Stables; the first is included in the rent and a charge applies for a second. Off-road parking is provided for one car, and guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum given the property's rural setting. Smoking is not permitted.
