Groves Fishleigh is a detached, thatched barn conversion next to the owner's home at the end of a country lane, about 1.5 miles from Hatherleigh and within walking distance of the Tarka Trail. Set in an isolated spot close to neighbouring farms, it offers a quiet rural base. A large sitting room with a woodburner and dining area sits on the ground floor, alongside a kitchen with a breakfast area.

Three bedrooms sleep 5: two doubles and a single, all on the first floor with views over the surrounding countryside. A ground-floor bathroom has a bath, shower over, basin and WC.

Electric central heating and the woodburner keep the cottage warm, with fuel, power and a starter pack included in the rent. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, and there's a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a selection of books, games and DVDs.

Ample off-road parking is provided, and a designated barbecue area sits on the patio slabs to the side of the property, near the garden table and furniture. Note that EV charging is restricted at this property. Hatherleigh itself has craft shops and a thatched pub, and the market town sits within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park and Okehampton Castle.

Up to four well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not permitted, and a shop and pub are 1.5 miles away.
