Gracious Ford Farm

Gracious Ford Farm stands near Oakford, close to Dulverton on the Devon side of Exmoor, and offers generous space for larger groups or multi-generational parties. The property sleeps up to ten across five bedrooms, making it suited to family gatherings or a group booking rather than a couples' retreat.

The bedroom layout runs to three doubles and two twins, served by three bathrooms: a ground floor wet room with shower and WC, a further shower room with WC, and an en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom with a shower over bath. There is a bedroom on the ground floor alongside the wet room.

The kitchen is equipped with a double oven, five-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, so self-catering for a full house is straightforward. Two woodburners heat the lounges, and a traditional brick-built barbecue stands in the garden for outdoor meals. The garden is enclosed, with off-road parking and electric vehicle charging on site, though a deposit for EV use is payable directly to the owner.

Up to three dogs are welcome, with kennels available and additional charges applying; dogs are not permitted upstairs. Families travelling with young children will find a travel cot and highchair provided, along with games and play facilities for entertaining a mixed-age group. A pub lies around a mile and a half away, with a shop roughly five miles off, useful to know when planning meals during a stay.
