Gitcombe House

Gitcombe House is a Grade II listed Georgian manor farmhouse on the outskirts of Cornworthy, the largest holiday home on the Gitcombe Estate. It sleeps 13 across six bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a dining room, sitting room and separate snug for family living space.

A twin bedroom sits on the ground floor next to a shower room. Upstairs are a second twin, a king-size, a triple room with three singles, a super-king-size, and a master bedroom with a super-king-size bed and en-suite bath. A family bathroom with a cast iron slipper bath and walk-in shower, plus a first-floor cloakroom, complete the facilities.

The kitchen has an oil-fired AGA alongside an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and the dining room has an open fire for evening meals. WiFi, a 47-inch flat screen TV and oil-fired central heating cover the rest of the house, and a highchair, two wooden cots and travel cots on request suit families with young children.

Guests share the estate's heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, sauna and steam room, a championship tennis court, table football and an adventure playground, set across 14 acres of grounds. The outdoor pool is usually open from the late May bank holiday to mid-September. The house has its own enclosed front garden with a bench and an enclosed rear garden with dining furniture for 12 and a barbecue. Off-road parking covers three cars at the front of the house, with 2 EVC points in the shared parking area. No pets are allowed and the property is strictly no smoking.
