Crablake Farmhouse

Crablake Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse set in 300 acres of farmland on the outskirts of Exminster, on a working farm that has won a Farm Diversification Award. It sleeps 12 across six bedrooms and three bathrooms, with two further cloakrooms, making it a base for a large family or group gathering.

A ground-floor double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, and five more bedrooms are upstairs: three super-king-size rooms and two twins, one of them zip-link and convertible to a super-king-size double. Two bathrooms upstairs each have a roll-top bath, and the larger one adds a walk-in shower and double basin. Five off-road parking spaces and an entrance hall greet arriving guests.

The farmhouse kitchen has an electric rangemaster oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, cafetiere and wine cooler, and a formal dining room seats 12 at a table with a bay window over the farmland. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, and a separate games room comes with a TV, sofa, armchairs, smart speakers and a table for board games. A large garden offers lawn, patios, terrace and furniture for time outdoors.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, with a second small or medium dog considered by arrangement; dogs must stay on leads in the grounds because of livestock. Off-road parking covers 5 cars, but electric vehicle charging is not available at the property. Highchair and travel cot are available on request, and smoking is not permitted.
