April Cottage

April Cottage is a three-bedroom period property in Brixham, sleeping up to five guests across a king-size, a twin and a single bedroom. The family bathroom with a beamed ceiling is on the first floor, and there is also a separate WC. Parking is on-street, a pub is around 400 metres away, and a shop is within half a mile.

At the front of the house a bay-windowed lounge opens through an archway into a dining area with a large wooden table, bench seating and a panelled feature wall. Double doors lead into the kitchen, which retains an original painted stone wall, exposed beams and a skylight. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, and a Smart TV is available in the property.

A step down from the kitchen leads to the rear enclosed patio, framed by white rustic walls and set up with outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ. Fishcombe, a sheltered shingle beach flanked by cliffs and mature woodland with a café, is around half a mile away on foot or by car. Berry Head National Nature Reserve is under two miles away on foot, and the South West Coast Path is accessible within 500 metres of the cottage.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with additional charges that may apply. Guests should bring their own beach towels. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.
