Shoreline

Perched above the Devon coast, Shoreline sleeps eight across three bedrooms and looks directly out over the sea towards Exmouth and the Jurassic Coastline. The two king-size bedrooms sit on the lower floor alongside a contemporary shower room and a utility room with washing machine, useful for rinsing out wetsuits or sandy kit. A third king-size bedroom on the upper floor has an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, plus an additional bunk bed restricted to children under 12.

The upper floor opens into an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area framed by picture windows that pull in long coastal views. A wood burner with the first basket of logs included gives the space warmth on cooler evenings, and a conservatory off the kitchen provides handy storage for beach equipment. The kitchen comes with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher, and a highchair is available for younger guests.

Teignmouth town beach and the nearest shop are around 1.5 miles away, with a pub within a mile. At the front of the property, a balcony with seating faces the sea, while the enclosed rear garden has a steep lawn and a paved area with outdoor dining furniture. Owners ask that dogs and children are kept under supervision in the garden at all times. Private parking for three cars is available on site.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. The steep rear lawn is worth bearing in mind for anyone with limited mobility.
