Riverbank

Riverbank is a traditional cottage in the village of Dalwood, dating back to 1849 and overlooking the River Cory. It sleeps 5 across three bedrooms upstairs, a double, a twin and a single, all with views over the adjoining fields, and there is a single ground-floor bathroom with a bath, a shower over, a basin and a WC.

Downstairs, a sitting room built around a woodburning stove opens onto a spacious dining room and a galley kitchen at the rear. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a hairdryer, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent. There is a TV and WiFi throughout.

Outside, a private gravelled driveway gives off-road parking for 1 car, and the garden is enclosed by a stone wall and gate, with a lawn, furniture and a picnic bench overlooking the river. Given the river and the livestock in the adjoining fields, care is needed with pets and children near the boundary.

Riverbank welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs, and smoking is not permitted. As is typical for a cottage of this age, it has low ceilings throughout and steep stairs, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The nearest shop is 1.7 miles away and the pub 1.8 miles.
