Stones Throw

This two-bedroom cottage in Instow sits in a quiet part of the village on the North Devon coast, sleeping up to four guests with one double and one twin room, both on the first floor. A family bathroom with shower cubicle serves both rooms.

Direct beach access is available through the back gate, and the village's restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries are a few minutes on foot. A seasonal ferry runs to Appledore for a change of scene, while Westward Ho! lies around five miles away with water sports and swimming.

The open-plan ground floor has seating for four across two sofas and a dining table, with an electric wood burner adding warmth on cooler evenings. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine. A TV and DVD player are also provided. Outside, the enclosed courtyard patio has a dining table and BBQ for warm evenings.

One dog is welcome, though additional charges may apply. Private parking is available on site, and bike storage can be arranged on request. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate are all available for families with young children. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure by 10:00.
