Dairy Cottage

This stone cottage stands in Swimbridge, a village 4.5 miles from Barnstaple town centre. The property sleeps four guests plus one on a Z-bed, making it suitable for a small family or two couples. Two bedrooms occupy the first floor: a double with its own shower room and a twin. A family bathroom with bath and WC serves both rooms. Low, sloping ceilings affect the first-floor layout.

The ground floor contains a lounge with stone chimney breast and television, leading through to a kitchen/diner equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A cot and highchair are available for families with young children. You have private parking on site and a pub 400 metres away.

Your private, fenced garden lies 20 metres from the cottage beside a river. A decking area overlooks the water, providing a spot for watching wildlife. The enclosed space offers security for outdoor relaxation. Please bring your own beach towels.

Saunton Sands beach is 13 miles away and known for surfing and swimming. Exmoor's walking and cycling routes begin approximately 6.5 miles distant. Barnstaple town offers a pannier market and independent shops within easy reach. Babysitting can be arranged by request. Dogs are not permitted at this property.
