Sundowner

Sundowner is a four-bedroom holiday home in a quiet cul-de-sac in Croyde, sleeping up to eight guests across a king-size room, two doubles and a bunk bedroom. The building is arranged with living spaces on the first floor to capture views towards the beach; the master bedroom sits on that upper level alongside the living areas, while the remaining three bedrooms occupy the ground floor. The master has its own en-suite shower over bath with WC; the ground-floor rooms share a family bathroom with shower over bath and heated towel rail, with two additional separate WCs spread across both floors.

The living room opens via French doors onto a large first-floor balcony furnished with a table, chairs and a parasol, making it a practical space for outdoor meals with beach views. A wood burner keeps things comfortable on cooler evenings, and the dining table seats the whole group. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a Tassimo coffee machine, plus a breakfast bar for four. A lockable garage leads through to a table tennis table, washing machine and tumble dryer.

An enclosed rear lawn with a picnic table and barbecue provides a second outdoor area at ground level. Private parking for three cars sits on site. Families are well catered for with a stairgate, highchair and travel cot all provided, and up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

The beach is roughly 400 metres away, with lifeguards on duty during summer and waves suited to beginner and intermediate surfers. The village shop and a pub are around 0.1 miles from the door. All guests should be comfortable on stairs, as an internal staircase from the entrance hallway leads up to the main living areas.
