Swallows Loft

Swallows Loft is a reverse-level cottage in the village of Bigbury, arranged over three floors with the living space on the first floor between the two bedrooms. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and two bathrooms: a ground-floor king-size room with an en-suite bath and shower over, and a second-floor twin room tucked into the loft with restricted headroom. The property is reached via internal steps, which make it unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility.

The first floor holds the main living space, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and corner sofa, next to a kitchen/diner fitted with an electric double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and washing machine, plus a dining table and breakfast bar for meals in. A first-floor shower room, with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, serves the loft bedroom. TV and WiFi cover the cottage, and oil central heating, fuel and power are included in the rent.

Outside is a lawned garden with seating, a spot to sit out with a drink when the weather allows. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars at the property, and the nearest shop and pub are around 0.6 miles away, with the beach roughly 3.4 miles.

Swallows Loft does not accept pets, and children under 12 cannot stay, a restriction that goes with the internal steps and the restricted headroom in the loft bedroom. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, and bed linen and towels are included in the rent.
