Island View

This bungalow sits just half a mile from Thurlestone, a coastal village on the South Devon coast, and sleeps five guests across three bedrooms. The layout suits a small family well: a twin room, a double with its own en-suite shower and WC, and a single that adjoins the double. A second shower room and WC serves the rest of the house. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

The living, dining and kitchen space is open-plan, with the dining area looking out across to Burgh Island and carrying far-reaching sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and filter coffee machine. A two-seater sofa, two armchairs and a TV complete the sitting area, with Wi-Fi available throughout.

To the front of the bungalow is a small garden. At the rear, a decked area with wooden outdoor furniture and a grassed area both take in the sea views; the garden is enclosed. An electric grill is available for outdoor cooking, and private parking is provided on site for one vehicle.

The shop and a pub are each around 500 metres away, and the beach is roughly half a mile on foot. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
