Driftwood Cottage

Driftwood Cottage sits in Mortehoe, a hilltop village on the North Devon coast, and sleeps four across two bedrooms. The king-size master has its own en-suite shower room with WC, while the twin room is served by a family bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The South West Coast Path runs directly opposite the front door, giving immediate access to the wider coastal trail network.

Neutral tones and wood finishes run throughout the living room, where a wood burner takes the chill off after a long walk. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer. A separate dining room to the rear overlooks the courtyard, and two Smart TVs with high-speed fibre broadband complete the indoor setup, alongside a welcome pack on arrival.

Patio doors open onto a small enclosed rear courtyard furnished with a bistro table and a BBQ. Private parking is available for one car, possibly two depending on vehicle size, though the entrance can be challenging for larger vehicles. Additional paid parking is available in the village car park, and roadside parking is not permitted.

One dog is welcome, with additional charges possibly applying. A travel cot and highchair are available for families with young children. The village pub and shop are around 150 metres away, and the beach is approximately 300 metres from the cottage. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
