Lodge 9

Lodge 9 is a contemporary timber lodge on a peaceful site just outside Tavistock, all on the ground floor with extensive rural views towards Dartmoor. Down the hallway entrance, an open-plan living space holds the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with French doors opening onto an enclosed veranda patio with furniture. There are steps to access the property, which may not suit guests with limited mobility.

The lodge sleeps 4 across two well-decorated bedrooms and two bathrooms. The king-size bedroom has its own en-suite walk-in shower room with a basin and WC, and the twin bedroom shares the main bathroom, which has a bath, shower over, basin and WC.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer and dishwasher, and the sitting area has a TV with Freeview and WiFi, plus a selection of books and games. Gas central heating keeps the lodge warm throughout the year.

Off-road parking is provided for 1 car. No pets are allowed and the lodge is no smoking throughout. A local shop, pub and restaurant are all within 3 miles, in the market town of Tavistock, with cycle routes and hiking trails nearby on Dartmoor.
