Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is a compact bungalow in East Down, a rural parish in North Devon. The property sits within shared grounds that include a private lake for coarse fishing and access to woodland walks, making it well suited to a quiet countryside break for two.

The single-storey layout keeps everything on one level. An entrance hall with storage for shoes and umbrellas opens into an open-plan kitchen, living room and dining area with a TV and seating at the table. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, coffee maker and air fryer. The bedroom is a ground-floor double, and the bathroom has a walk-in shower, WC and an arch-shaped window.

A private enclosed courtyard with seating adjoins the property within the wider shared grounds. Private parking is available on site, a welcome pack and towels are included, and internet access is provided throughout. The nearest pub is 1 mile away; shops are 4 miles and the closest beach is 6 miles. Exmoor National Park is 3.5 miles away, with the coast at Combe Martin roughly 5.5 miles.

Kingfisher Cottage is for adults only and does not accept children or dogs. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.
