Heron House

This architect-designed home near Weston near Honiton sleeps up to 10 adults and 2 children across five bedrooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring views of the surrounding vineyard and countryside into the open-plan living spaces.

The kitchen and diner form the heart of the house, fitted with an electric oven, gas and induction hobs, a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, with a separate utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. A wood burner (logs provided) sits beside the dining and seating area, while a further living room offers a Smart TV for evenings in. Bedrooms include three super-king zip-and-link rooms that can be made up as twins on request, a king-size room, and a bunk room with two bunk beds, where the top bunks are for children only. One bedroom is located on the ground floor. Of the three bathrooms, one has an en suite shower room, a second is a separate shower room, and the third is a family bathroom with a free-standing bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside, guests have private use of a wood-fired hot tub and a separate fire pit, along with a BBQ and an enclosed garden set across multiple patio and decking areas. A shared children's play area sits within the wider grounds, alongside a restaurant and shop available on site for those wanting to eat out without leaving the grounds. Private parking is provided for four cars, with overflow parking available in the main car park nearby, and electric vehicle charging is available on site at an additional cost, requiring guests to bring their own cable.

Wifi and travel cot and highchair are available on request, and up to three dogs can stay with additional charges applying. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.
