This large farmhouse stands on the edge of Ashbrittle, a Somerset village close to the Devon border, reached along narrow country lanes, and suits a family or group gathering of up to ten. The property has been finished to a high standard throughout, with exposed beams and a vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom, which also has a window seat overlooking the countryside.

Accommodation is arranged across five bedrooms and split between two staircases. On the ground floor there is a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (convertible to a twin on request) with an en-suite shower room, plus a separate downstairs WC. Upstairs are four further bedrooms: another super-king-size zip-and-link room with an en-suite bath, separate shower and WC, two king-size rooms (one with en-suite shower room, one with en-suite bath and separate shower), and the master super-king-size room with its own en-suite shower room. Each bedroom has a Smart TV. The kitchen has two electric ovens, an induction hob, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher, with a breakfast bar for informal meals, while a separate dining room and lounge each have their own wood burner, with an initial supply of logs included.

A lobby and utility room holds a washing machine, tumble dryer and Belfast sink, along with additional fridge and freezer storage. Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio with furniture and a lawn, and a separate paddock offers a climbing frame, swing and slide, along with room for ball games. A private hot tub is available, and the games barn houses a full-size snooker table, table tennis, air hockey and darts.

Off-road parking is provided for up to six cars, and a stairgate can be supplied on request along with a travel cot and highchair for younger visitors. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying, and pets should be included in the booking details. This property is let for family holidays only, with stag and hen parties not accepted, and a refundable £350 security deposit is payable ahead of arrival.
